Providing the meter point number is required to verify whether participation in the energy community is technically and organizationally feasible and to enable the subsequent assignment of energy consumption and feed-in points.
The data you provide will be used exclusively to process your inquiry, to carry out pre-contractual measures, and, if applicable, to establish and maintain your membership in the energy community.

5. Processing within the energy community

 

Upon becoming a member, we process the data necessary for the operation of the energy community, in particular:

  • Member master data

  • Contact information

  • Metering point numbers

  • Information on consumption and feed-in points

  • Billing data

  • Energy data, to the extent necessary for the administration and billing of the energy community

 

Data is processed solely for the purpose of managing membership, handling organizational matters, and fulfilling the Energy Community’s legal and contractual obligations.

The software EEGFaktura from the association VFEEG – Association for the Promotion of Energy Communities - is used for the administration and billing of the energy community.

 

The personal data processed in connection with the use of the service is limited to that which is necessary for the administration and billing of the energy community.
 
Appropriate data processing agreements in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR are in place with all service providers, thereby ensuring an adequate level of data protection.

 

 

7. Disclosure of Data

 

Your personal data will only be disclosed

  • to the extent necessary to administer your membership,

  • if there is a legal obligation to do so,

  • if you have given your explicit consent, or

  • if it is necessary to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims.

 
Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties for advertising purposes.

 

 

8. Retention Period

 

Your personal data will be stored only for as long as necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations.
Inquiry data from prospective customers will be deleted as soon as the inquiry has been fully processed and there are no statutory retention obligations or legitimate interests that prevent deletion.
Data from members is stored for the duration of their membership and beyond, in accordance with statutory retention periods.
